Florence Wong is a co-founder of the Asian American Women Artists Association. She is also a poet, writer, elementary school visual arts specialist and a community arts advocate dedicated to cultural pluralism. As a visual artists, she has created and exhibited several bodies of work that speak of her Chinese American heritage in a contemporary way. Some of these images are featured in the Suite:Oakland performance.
