98-year-old sister of L.P. Jones, celebrated her
birthday recently and shared her thoughts,
memories and stories with Inside Oakland Staff
Writer Stuart Luman. Born in Louisiana, her
voice is a mix of creole, French and English --
although hard to understand, the texture tells a
rich story.
