2727 California Street

On the corner of a Berkeley residential neighbourhood is a nonprofit art space named after its address: 2727 California Street. Marc Hellerstein, a UC Berkeley Professor of Nutritional Science & Toxicology, discovered the vacant shop-house property a year ago, purchased it and swiftly transformed it into a quiet artistic refuge.
