A day with the Coast Guard

Each day the United States Coast Guard patrols our harbors ensuring that our waterways are open for business and safe for recreation. To better understand what these civil servants do, I went underway with a boat crew conducting a Maritime Security Response Operation (MISRO) in the San Francisco Bay.
