"English in Action" is a radio program that teaches English to black South African primary school children. It is broadcast by the Open Learning Systems Education Trust (OLSET), founded in 1990 when apartheid had all but destroyed learning in black South Africa.

Over half a million children across the country, from urban township to rural farm schools, listen to the program for half an hour daily. "English in Action" is a highly interative program, combining songs, games, story telling and language drills.
