Jessie
Deeter and Anne Sengès are free-lance writers and second-year
graduate students at UC Berkeley's School of Journalism. Anne is the
U.S. correspondent for the French weekly CB News, and has written for
venues like the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner and
Salon. Jessie has written for everybody from U.S. Event Horse to the San
Francisco Chronicle, Salon, and Computer Reseller News. Drawn together
by a mutual attraction to the Middle East, Jessie and Anne began
planning their trip to Lebanon in their first semester at Berkeley. Anne
is currently writing her Master's thesis on Lebanon, and Jessie will
graduate with a degree in journalism and Middle Eastern Studies next
May. |
