Nobukazu Okabe’s father returned to Nagasaki after his Navy
service in World War II. The younger Okabe later left home to
begin a new life in the United States, but came back when his
father pressured him to return and settle down in Nagasaki. Now,
Nobukazu's own children are grown and working far from their hometown.
