Family of Faith came about because of my own newfound dedication to church. Here, at Bethany Baptist Church in Oakland, California, the rituals, the faith and the family atmosphere are so strong that the services are like magnets that pull in the community. Located on the Corner of Adeline and 151st streets, Bethany is the epitome of the Black Baptist Church. In conceptualizing this project, I wanted to convey that magnetic energy. I hope I have done Bethany justice.
