Yet over time it has changed just as the faces of Berkeley has changed; playing part in the tensions and triumphs of the school and the students that go here. From the early visions of the ministry of the house to the first Westminster House collegium members, the Campus Pastors along with the board and the students living there, have been concerned with how best to serve this campus. It has also been closely intertwined with it's larger Berkeley community. From the it's growth spurt and focus to the campus in the 40's, the singspirations and religious interest of the 50's, the involvement in the Free Speech Movement (FSM) of the 60's, the outreaching into the community (with free services) along with a move towards justice in the 70's and 80's, till it's current state now; Westminster has been part of it all.
