Ballet for Black and Brown Bodies

Reporter Muna Danish visits a Ballet for Black and Brown Bodies class in Oakland, and talks to its founder Alyah Baker. Baker’s mission is to make this historically exclusive art form more accessible to a wider range of body types and people of color. We also hear from Coral Martin, dancer for Oakland Ballet, about her experience as a black ballet dancer.
