Battle for People’s Park

In 1969, UC Berkeley students took over a piece of university land–and turned it into a park. They protected it even when the National Guard came in. There’s now a retrospective photography exhibit of the Battle for People’s Park at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, allowing viewers to reflect on the university’s past–and present–activism.
