Berkeley’s Turkeys and a Community Garden in Danger

Berkeley residents are fighting to save a community garden in Northwest Berkeley. The garden is owned by the UC, and was established in 2012 after activists pushed back on the University’s plan to develop the land. The garden attracts the city’s wild turkeys, and one resident has been feeding the turkeys for years despite objections from Animal Control.
