When Icelandic reporter Anna M. Clausen moved to the U.S. she left her bubble behind, only to find herself in a new one in Berkeley, California. The 2016 presidential election made her feel out of touch and she craved a deeper understanding of her new home.
What is America? Is it the one President Trump references when he talks about making it great again? Is it politics, a feeling, a place?
Anna decided to search for it by riding buses from Iowa to Pennsylvania, talking to the people she met along the way.
