The Bait Shop

Fish in the San Francisco Bay have been in decline for decades, and so too have the number of people trying to catch them. Fewer fishermen means less business for local bait shops, and many have closed their doors. But one shop on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley has managed to survive. Berkeley Bait and Tackle has been around for thirty plus years, thanks in part to its motley crew of loyal customers. Reporter Coby McDonald takes us inside.
