Tucked away in the UC Berkeley Valley Life Sciences Building is a research collection with roughly six million dead insects. It’s called the Essig Museum of Entomology, but the name is deceptive because it isn’t open to the public. A few times a year the Essig takes out the “Oh My” collection, which showcases large, flashy insects. North Gate Radio got to explore this museum and its extensive collection.
