On Sunday, December 10, the Sundar Shadi Christmas Display will go up the hill alongside Moeser Lane in El Cerrito. It will feature dozens of statues — camels, sheep, an angel — arranged as a miniature Bethlehem. The tradition dates back to 1949, when a man with a beautiful garden took up sculpting.
