Struggling to Breathe in the Bay Area

Asthma is a disease that makes it difficult to breathe and irritates the respiratory system. According to the CDC, it’s one of the most common chronic illnesses in America, with nearly 25 million people affected. Here in the Bay Area, low-income populations and people of color suffer most from asthma but have a challenging time getting treatment. Kaitlin Benz met some people trying to change that.
